We recently stayed at The Soul, Peppers in Surfers Paradise to celebrate my 50th birthday with family. While the staff were absolutely fantastic—friendly, accommodating, and always doing their best to help—unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t reflect a true 5-star standard. The rooms themselves were spacious with great views, which we really appreciated. However, a major issue is that each apartment is privately owned, and Peppers simply manages the letting. This leads to inconsistencies and makes it difficult for staff to troubleshoot problems effectively. Our first room had no internet connection to the TV, and after three visits from staff, the issue couldn’t be resolved. We were eventually moved to another room, only to find the TV in the bedroom didn’t work either—and that issue was never resolved for the duration of the trip. These might sound like minor problems, but when you’re paying a premium price—especially for a special occasion like a milestone birthday—you expect a certain level of comfort and functionality that just wasn’t there. Sadly, despite the excellent service from the team and beautiful views, the inconsistency and lack of attention to detail in the rooms left us disappointed. I wouldn’t choose to stay at this property again.

Stayed in a three bedroom skyview apartment. Very spacious, modern, excellent kitchen. Amazing views from 58th floor. In school holidays so expected it to be busier than it was, car valet was efficient. No waiting for the lifts even during busy times. Had a nice cooked breakfast - before 9am breakfast area was quieter than after 9. Hotel right in the middle of busy surfers area so plants to do for the kids as well.

The hotel is conveniently located near soul boardwalk shopping mall with many restaurants around. We booked the 3 bedroom ocean view apartment. The rooms are clean. The view’s amazing. It’s very spacious with well equipped kitchen, dishwasher, dining ware, washing machine and dryer. The balcony is very spacious. Best for traveling with family & friends in Gold Coast

Unfortunately the pool and the steam room are closed for maintenance, and the weather forcing closure of the Beach These ammenities should be fixed as a matter of urgency considering it’s school holidays and considering the price of the room one would expect it to be fixed straight away We have been here for several days and the steam room has been closed

We booked in for a few nights as part of a holiday for our anniversary. The staff provided us with a upgrade to a penthouse and a bottle of champagne as a congratulations. The room is amazing and we will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff for for going above and beyond
