My husband and I had the most amazing stay at this hotel in Patong Phuket! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, especially Elia; the room was spotless with a stunning forest view, and all pools were just breathtaking. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and delicious breakfast each morning. The location of the Hotel is close to Patong Beach and Bangala road which makes it easier to access the area. Perfect spot for couples – we’ll definitely be back!

We had such a beautiful stay. The Staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay most especially Lana and Matt the managers. The massage from the spa was the best we had in Thailand. Breakfast had a wide spread and was really good, they just need to perfect their croissants skills as well as have USB plug by the beds. Overall we loved it and will for sure return to Avista.

Great staff specially Mr. Elias and really nice restaurant called tampu its a really the front experience with a great view on the mountain. We have three pools in three years in a 24 seven room service and they have shuttle service to Patang .

We were going to stay here 2 nights, but ended up extending our stay for 10 days. This hotel has the best breakfast-so many delicious options, and we always choose our hotels based on the top quality of the breakfast. When we arrived, Yah , one of the housekeepers made the most romantic swan towel arrangement with flowers and daily beautiful tropical flowers on our pillows. There was easy access to the pa tong shopping center, the reception Aye gave us an incredible room upgrade, and when we arrived Matt explained everything so kindly- the service here is outstanding! Kiran and It at the main pool, and Alisa were exceptional in the bar and restaurant and every morning Abhi made sure to get us fresh coconuts and greeted us with jokes and a big smile. Thailand is exceptional for service, and this hotel’s staff went above and beyond!

Amazingly Unique Hillside Hideaway Resort

My partner and I have just returned to Sydney from a wonderful 7-day trip to Phuket staying at the Avista Hideaway Resort MGallery. I was first struck at the unique styling of this resort - it's like walking into/through a beautifully landscaped work of art. I adored photographing every aspect of it - and there's a lot to photograph if you stay here! The location was perfect for us - nestled in the hillside high above the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach (just a quick Tuk Tuk ride). The staff were wonderful and deserve high praise. They are a superb selection of beautifully attentive and friendly locals, more than happy to help, assist and advise in any way they can - and they did on more than one occasion. We were first-timers to Thailand. Our favorite thing to do was to watch the stunning ever-changing sunsets and sip cocktails from the Sizzle Bar atop the resort ... (see pic). The cocktails at each of the three amazing swim-up bars were also delicious and the bar staff there also commendable. The food and restaurants were first-class (and delicious), as was the breakfast buffet. My only criticisms are: 1/ The resort - being a little tired looking for its age and it also being out of season - is currently undergoing renovations. This fact we were not informed about and should've been during check in. So on a few mornings we were rudely woken to the sound of sledgehammers banging and renovating rooms nearby. This even occurred at 7am on a Sunday morning. Not very pleasant! 2/ The walls between rooms are quite thin and thus noisy neighbor's became a bit of a late-night/early morning issue. Not pleasant! 3/ I accidentally sliced my arm on a very sharp piece of metal that was part of the door hiding the mini bar fridge. These sharp metallic pieces were also spotted throughout the room on other doors. A hazard! 4/ The rooms are nicely appointed but are quite dated and thus our bathroom sink leaked and flooded our bathroom area one morning. However, it was quickly fixed by Maintenance after informing Front Desk. However, we were not offered another room, an apology or any form of compensation for the inconvenience. Apart from that, we did love our stay and have been telling all our friends about the lovely time we had at the spectacular resort. One day we hope to see another amazing sunset from the Avista Sizzle Bar again!
