Great location by St James Park. Walking distance to great restaurants and sights. The rooms are nice. Staff is excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The housecleaning staff was especially good. Main complaint was with the room location. For 500 pounds per night you would expect an excellent room but my room looked at the side of an adjacent building and was next to the housecleaning closet which was noisy at times. I would definitely ask to see your room first before checking in. Lastly, I was charged .50 pounds for a local call which seemed a bit trivial so ask to see your receipt to check for pesky charges.

I’m genuinely sorry we didn’t have the opportunity to address your concerns whilst you were with us, as your comfort and satisfaction are always our top priorities. With regard to the telephone charge, while a standard fee applies to all outgoing calls, we apologise if this was not made clear. We greatly value your feedback, and I regret that the 50 pence charge left a negative impression. On a positive note, we’re pleased that our central location in the heart of St James’s enhanced your London experience. Being just steps from iconic landmarks and a variety of restaurants and theatres is something many of our guests truly value, and we’re glad this added to your time with us. If you are planning a trip to London, stay here!! Beatiful, luxury hotel in the heart of the city with everything you need within a 15 minute walk including most must see tourist sites, dining of all caregories, theatre district, and gr8 shopping. The team at Sofitel are dedicated to client service that made our stay enjoyable. Hotel impeccably clean, rooms are comfortable, and thr breakfast was delicious. We will stay here anytime we come to London!!

Outstanding staff and the best possible location made for a thoroughly luxurious vacation. Each request or inquiry was handled quickly and professionally. The very short walk to the National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery and high fashion shopping created multiple delightful opportunities every day.

We had the best time at the Sofitel! The staff was amazing. The room was a dream. They all went out of their way to make it so great for us. This was our first time in London and the location was perfect. Kimberly, wrote a hand written note to my daughter would had just graduated from High school, and this was her graduation trip! I would highly recommend staying here!
